74 : Tue Feb 12 11:32:59 2002 (Smasher) :: A helpful worm

Deep in the bowels of the ruined city in the blight can be found a prisoner
of sorts. He seems crazed and maddened from the noxious blight, but is very
useful. He rambles and is incohenrent, even to me, one of the Chosen. I
did, however, manage to find out some useful information from him. Although
pale and weak looking, he began rambling some strange words. Suddenly I
felt a bit quicker, and stronger. He looked at the dagger I had on my belt
and motioned towards it. I hissed at him and threw it at his feet.


He picked the dagger up and within seconds the dagger took on a pale blue
hue. I was able to determine his name as Yerilan.

I have met with him on occassion since then, and it seems that the Dark
One's own powers run through him. It seems though that he is lonely and
always hungry. It would be a good idea to bring him some meat and water on
occassion, as his power seems to weaken considerably without.

I will advise you NOT to kill this worm, he has his uses for all of us.
Contrary to what other 'generals' may say, as I am the lead ranking
general, make use of this worm, but not as food. Anyone coming into
conflict with this order may be punished severely.

ooc- If you can't figure out what this means, lemme spell it out. Yerilan
can be found walking around the ruined city. He is NOT a mob. Bring him
food/light/water and he will give you all the armor/str/wards you need. He
does not speak trolloc, so do your best to communicate with him.
