oh man i love using lances as secondary wpn with seeras, don't take it away from me i don't have the pracs to do anything else :(

actually i have tried to stab without sblades, when i forgot to prac them on my rogue, i clumsied 30 something times in a row before i landed one (i was getting pissed at how broke my stab was :) ). it is possible, just low %, like landing a stab in a nohide

charge is like that, except a much higher %, so its not a bug, it was intended to work like 30% with 0 pracs in it, and more like 50% with full pracs

I've done it to the tune of 200 samples and it landed roughly .5% of the time. That's all the other stab skills at play. Charge relies on fewer skills pracced and therefore will land at a greater rate. Not necessarily a bug, but a complete oversight, which has the same outcome.

Sneak was deemed to be bugged the way it worked for free, which is why it's way harder to toggle on as a trolloc if you don't have it pracced these days. Not having to practice a massive damage skill that lands at even 30% (and probably MUCH higher due to the more consistent berserk multiplier on charge) is indefensible.

Like somebody said though, I like the idea of lances being used to charge the way charge is meant to be (opening attack) -- I wouldn't mind free charge with lances as much if the top lances weren't already pretty powerful weapons in melee/damage/bash.

lol i don't know if you could say 'react' but perhaps if i was expecting to get clicked for 395 odd hp while standing given Animel insta fled then maybe ultra conservative foresight if i was switched on enough would have led me to stack commands to leave the room after the missed bash instead i stacked 'stand, k h.dark, bash' which is really just a fairly ingrained reflex response in such a situation as most of the time it gets you out of trouble.

He already had commands stacked by the time Shzrei started his charge. Even if he had started spamming, it wouldn't have mattered. He couldn't exactly undo his commands after he saw the charge start.

That said, being aware of what setup your opponent is using is crucial. He knew Shzrei was in the room, and he should have known (by charge timers rolling, or looking at Shzrei) that Shzrei charged (this assumes that Shzrei hadn't just showed up in PK, and that he had been around prior to this short log), and he shouldn't have been rolling bashes with Shzrei just standing there waiting to charge him when he missed.
