there were a few cases, of course the healing of stilling, but before that it was mentioned that the warder bond was new, and the safe method of pulling apart a weave that the wise ones know about (previously it almost always ended in something very bad happening for the channeler, if not the building they were in or the block they were on)

Just another two cents, but did no one else make the connection that the Tarmon gaidon will result in another golden age? Eg, randland evolves into the Era that is Aol. From that logic one can almost say that Rands channelers and Egewenes channelers, will form a new form of White tower... like the hundred companions or something. Everytime i read the books the symbol of the end of the world, could result in Lews therins time coming around. THink of rands school making sho wings, and everything evolving to that end.

Remember in the this last book rand has been on about breaking the seals forever, thus opening and leaving the bore open to be sealed , so that later, that girl forsaken can break into the bore.
What goes around comes around.

Well jumping straight back to the AOL would skip a few ages... now chances are good there will be an age of legends type thing but it won't be the AOL from the books - because there needs to be a lot of ages between the 4th age and the AOL - e.g. an age where there is no knowledge of the one power (I think that maybe that at the start of the AOL age the one power was rediscovered, or it might have been the age before that; it was certainly rediscovered at some point in time).

It's also possible that the next age will be an age without the one power if rand has to effectively get rid of it to seal off the DO for good. (I feel that this possibility has been foreshadowed a bit, but so has the AOL-like possibility)
