This valley offers a panoramic view of the green hills that are so
characteristic of this region. Trees of all kinds and ages dot the peaceful
landscape. Beneath the canopy of leaves, insects chirp and buzz in seeming
harmony. Sounds of flowing water come from the south. It would not take
much more than dropping a smouldering cinder to set off a massive forest
fire in the surrounding area.

FYI: I am posting this because someone sent me tells saying I must have been on powerful opiates because the door was open the whole time.


This happened over and over again. I didn't want to engage at the gate and bash, cause i didn't want the mobs to chase me. I guess when you said "It's open" I presumed you weren't fighting someone for it. And then once you realized you were when you said "it's been wide open for hours" he had stopped. I'm not sure what you guys saw, but it hadn't been wide open for hours. It had been wide open for a pulse, about every other pulse.

then i tried dlining through, which didn't work, as the gate was closed. then the mobs engaged me and chased me, then i tried to keep borbor occupied away from the door, so i could potentially flee get through and get on carnivore there (who i can bash), then ended up dying in a door, as the mobs previously at the gate chased inside a door, which i stupidly didn't account for, being flustered about tells saying i must not have been at the gate, since it was open. then i went to a particularly uninformative meeting where the PI of another lab spent 45 minutes talking to me like I was 5, and had never heard the word 'cell', let alone 'cancer'. Then I came back to wotmud, annoyed at the world. that sums it up.

but that's not a particularly good story. just posted it because raziel was positive i wasn't at the gate.

I've had the same thing happen several times. I've yet to land a resting stab since I started playing again. I also think that once I failed a hide in a room that I'm flagged as "this idiot couldn't hide on the first try" and I'm not allowed to stab in that room. I'd be better off leaving and coming back and attempting to hide again ;P.

Haha, you can see the panic settle in after the first few fail.

Also, this is why I hate being a rogue. You always know it's BS whenever you get a kill with stab. Comfs on that man.
