Checked load at DWC, didn't try to weave or the like, and got hit with a ridiculous stream of emotes. I suspect there may be a bug at work.

The Alcove
A wide, wood paneled area opens here in this most unlikely of places. Torch
holders line the walls giving off a bright but unsteady light. Shadows
dance on the walls as the flames flicker. This place smells like body odor
and rotten food as if the people who inhabit it are none too clean.

His emotes go off when anyone in the room misses a bash, since 4 of his mobs missed bashes you were hit 4 times with emote damage.

Kinda crazy but I doubt it's a bug.

I would consider benefiting from your own side's failure a bug.

as i ponder this information about the bashing, it seems to me that a group of absers would rarely see emotes while a group of dodge/comboers would see them frequently. perhaps this is intentional?

If its not a bug, then its intended to stop small groups. Larger groups would have the damage spread across them.

Note that in additional testing today the smob, or perhaps an imm, wizkilled my mob twice in there. Hoping it was an imm irritated I was having some success trying to solo it, as would be somewhat irksome if people couldn't even bring mobs in there with a smob group.
