MUD REVIEW BY JIZZAH

Wotmud has been through some rough patches in the past but largely due to a core of dedicated players and immortals, the mud has managed to pull through these hard times and refine itself both in features and the way it handles problematic situations making the mud better all round for everyone. The first thing you will notice about wotmud is the overwhelming variety of things to learn, do and take part in.

This mud offers both PK and RP, PK tends to come to you whether your looking for it or not... where as RP is something you really have to find. Although saying that, RP is not scarce and there are dedicated players and clans with whom you can enjoy roleplaying with to your hearts content.

Recently the mud has undergone a lot of changes and has had new life breathed into it by dedicated immortals and builders helping to evolve and change the mud for the better.

I myself have played on the mud since 2002, the more time you put into it the more you get out of it. My favorite class in the game by far would have to be the male channeler class and gender whom can perform tremendous damage in PK but has the malus of the taint and being hunted to deal with. In robert jordans wheel of time world, male channelers are not widely accepted and are greatly feared for their power and eventual insanity.

The mud offers a bonanza of SMOBS and even quests for newer players to do without needing to be clanned. For those that would perhaps prefer to join an organisation and become a member of a clan then their is plenty of oppurtunity and variety. Clans which fight the shadow, clans which defend their lands, clan that focus on the art of healing and clans that are at one with the forrest.

These are but a few I mention, each clan has more than a years worth to offer in playtime and activities as well as goals to aspire to. Taking into account all that I have mentioned and bearing in mind that wotmud is on the horizon for many coming changes and features as well as a dedicated player base and ever changing environment wotmud is certainly worth investing some playing time!
