WHEEL OF TIME MUD TRINKETS
Jewelry, otherwise known as ‘trinkets’ can be divided up into three categories in the Wheel of Time MUD: necklaces, bracelets and rings. These are highly sought after by dodge type players, which tends to be rogues, hunters and channelers. Usually you'll find these on super mobs (smobs); a large part of the reason people go on smobbing runs. We’ll deal with each one in turn.
Necklaces
As the name suggests, necklaces are worn around the neck. You are allotted two slots to wear necklaces, meaning you may wear two at any one time. Ie:
<worn about the neck> a thin black chain <worn about the neck> a thin black chain
Each necklace has varying attributes that may help you in some way. For example, a necklace may increase your dodge bonus (DB), your parry bonus (PB), increase the amount of maximum moves your character has (MV), it may make you undetectable to channeler’s looking for you, or it may stop channeler’s using spells/weaves on you entirely. Additionally, if you are wearing two of the same necklace, you may receive an additional bonus of 1 DB or PB, but this will vary depending the necklace type. Finally, some necklaces may be able to sheath short blades.
